ADS-B Radar local aircraft radar interface

YOUR ANTENNA · YOUR DATA · YOUR RADAR

Aircraft tracking.
Out of the box.

ADS-B Radar is a dedicated, self-contained aircraft radar designed to bring the complete 1090 MHz ADS-B receiving chain into one ready-to-use system. The receiver hardware, Mode-S / ADS-B decoding, live radar display, aircraft identification, watchlists, local visitor history and statistics all run together on the device. Take it to the airport, set it up at your favorite spotting location, or use it at home. Identify approaching aircraft, follow nearby traffic and make plane spotting easier with your own live receiver. Connect the antenna, power it on and watch real aircraft traffic received directly at your location — without buying a separate ADS-B receiver, installing a phone app, creating a cloud account, paying a subscription, entering a service contract or depending on a third-party flight-tracking service. Reception range can reach up to roughly 400 km under favorable antenna, terrain and installation conditions.

ONE RECEIVER · MULTIPLE DISPLAYS

Your radar. On the big screen and in your browser.

ADS-B Radar runs locally on the receiver box. Two additional display options let you follow aircraft on a TV or through a web browser on your local network. Both show aircraft received by your own antenna — not an internet flight-tracking feed.

TV Radar full-screen live radar, aircraft list and flight information

TV RADAR

Turn your television into a radar screen.

A large-screen, full-screen radar display with live targets, aircraft list, selected-aircraft details, flight information and observed altitude and speed profiles. Ideal for a dedicated TV or monitor.

An optional display mode using the box's local web interface — no additional ADS-B receiver or cloud account required.

GEO Web Radar showing local geography, live aircraft, statistics and aircraft flight profiles

WEB RADAR · GEO SKIN

Follow your local airspace from a browser.

A geographical radar view with local map features, live aircraft and callsigns, traffic lists, selected-aircraft details, flight information, session statistics and fixed-scale altitude and ground-speed profiles.

Access the radar through a compatible browser on your local network. No phone app, subscription or third-party map requests are needed for the local geography view.

SPOTTER MODE · WORLDWIDE AIRPORT SELECTION

Choose any airport. Know what your antenna can actually hear.

Select an airport anywhere in the world and center the Spotter Mode display on it. The radar checks the airport's distance from your receiver and warns you when the selected airport is too far away for practical local ADS-B reception.

Important: Selecting an airport changes the radar display center — it does not move your receiver, increase its reception range or supply remote aircraft data. Only aircraft actually received by your own box can appear. Even a nearby airport may have limited ground-level coverage due to terrain, buildings and antenna placement.

Spotter Mode centered on Corfu Airport, Greece
Example: Spotter Mode centered on Corfu (CFU).
Spotter Mode warning that Denpasar Airport is 11272 km from the receiver and outside practical reception range
Distance warning for a faraway airport: the display can be centered there, but local reception cannot follow it.

OPTIONAL DATA SHARING · YOUR PERSONAL ONLINE SPACE

Your aircraft. Your statistics. Online.

When ADS-B Radar owners choose to share their receiver data with adsb-radar.org, they can get a dedicated online area for their own received aircraft and detailed statistics. Explore contacts, aircraft information and reception history beyond the screen of the box. Sharing is optional: local radar operation does not depend on it.

This online service is planned for customers as ADS-B Radar becomes available; features and availability may evolve.

NO CLOUD REQUIRED

Switch it on. Watch the sky.

ADS-B Radar is designed as an appliance, not another web service. The receiver, decoder, aircraft display, watchlists and statistics work locally. There is no mandatory mobile app to install, no account to create and no external tracking platform required for normal operation.

01

No app

The radar is the interface. No companion phone or tablet is required.

02

No account

No registration, login or cloud identity is needed to operate the radar.

03

No subscription

Your locally received aircraft data remains useful without a paid service.

04

Local first

Receive, decode, identify and display aircraft directly on your own system.

NO SUBSCRIPTION · NO RECURRING PAYMENTS · NO CONTRACT

The box is the service.

Once you have the ADS-B Radar hardware, normal radar operation does not require any further payment. There is no subscription tier to unlock aircraft, no recurring fee, no cloud contract and no paid data plan. Switch the box on and see the aircraft your own antenna receives — potentially out to roughly 400 km, depending on antenna quality, antenna height, terrain, surrounding obstacles and your location.

NO SUBSCRIPTIONNo monthly or annual radar fee.
NO CONTRACTNo account or service commitment.
FREE UPDATESSoftware and standing-data updates at no additional charge.
